All studios are conveniently located at The Brewery, 284 Amory Street, Jamaica Plain, one block from the Stony Brook T stop on the Orange Line. Ample free parking available.

Class Rental Hourly Rate

Class means the instructor will be compensated by participants. If you are hosting a class, there is an additional $15/hr fee. 

Rehearsal Rental Hourly Rates During Regular Front Desk Hours

Studio 1: $35/hr
Studio 2: $50/hr
Studio 3: $40/hr

Rental Rates Outside of Regular Front Desk Hours

Studio 1: $45/hr
Studio 2: $60/hr
Studio 3: $50/hr

Studio Capacity

Studio 1: maximum 8 adults
Studio 2: maximum 20 adults
Studio 3: maximum 12 adults

New Renters

One time additional $30 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration.

Short-Term Renters

Rentals within 2 months

$25 rental deposit paid by card at the time the rental is confirmed. This deposit goes toward the total cost of the rental. Or pay by card in full. If paying with cash/check, the remaining balance is due at the front desk on the day of the first rental. 

Long-Term Renters

8+ rentals over 3+ months

Recurring short term rentals 

$30 rental deposit paid by card at the time the rental is confirmed. This deposit goes toward the total cost of the rental. Or pay by card in full. A Certificate Of Insurance (COI) is needed from all long-term renters at the time the deposit is paid. Cash or check payments for the remaining balance must be made at the front desk during studio hours at your earliest convenience, and absolutely no later than the day of the first rental. 

Booking Policy

It may take us 48 hours, or up to 1 week to respond to rental requests. 

Payment

If you want to pay with cash or check on the day of, that can be left with the person at the front desk, or in the black lockbox behind the desk. 

The other option for payment is to quickly make an account in Studio Pro and make a card payment. The software charges a convenience fee of 3.05% + $0.30 for card payments. 

Cancellation Fee & Policy

We understand that life happens and rentals may need to be cancelled, this can be done by email at any time. Your rental deposit will not be refunded. 

There is a built-in buffer period of 15 – 30 min between studio uses to respect everyone’s time. 

Please be courteous of the space and others.

Make sure the space is clean and vacant no later than 5 minutes after your scheduled rental.

September – May*, the regular TWDC Front Desk Hours are:

Monday – Thursday, 3:30 – 8:30 pm
Saturday 8:30 am – 12 pm.
