Amane’s professional dancing experience has shaped her teaching approach, which blends
technical rigor with artistic expression, as well as historical and anatomical insight. A registered

Boston City Youth Ballet, a scholarship program at Tony Williams Dance Center. Alongside this,
she is a lecturer at Boston College where teaches ballet, pointe, and history of ballet. Amane’s
ballet instruction is complemented by her work in Pilates—Amane holds a Balanced Body
Comprehensive Pilates Certification and teaches both Pilates and ballet at Boston University.
Extending this integrated approach, she is also certified to teach Progressive Ballet Technique, a
body-conditioning program designed to develop the strength, alignment, and muscle memory
essential for dancers and athletes of all ages and levels.

Amane holds BA with honors in Professional Dance and Performing Studies from the University
