Elizabeth Mochizuki

Elizabeth Mochizuki grew up in California where she studied ballet with Diane Mosier. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Tufts University. Ms. Beth has performed with such companies as Boston Dance Company, Ithaca Ballet, Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theatre, Spindle City Ballet, and State Street Ballet. She began dancing in the Urban Nutcracker in 2003 and has also served as Ballet Master and Assistant Director of the Urban Nutcracker. Ms. Beth retired from Festival Ballet Providence in 2019, where she performed such roles as the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker, Princess Florine in the Sleeping Beauty, and Princess Elena in the Firebird.  At Tony Williams Dance Center, Ms. Beth teaches creative dance, ballet, and is the Ballet Division Coordinator. In 2022, she founded the Asian American Ballet Project, the very first Asian American ballet company. She lives with her husband and their 7-year-old son in Easton.
