In the movie, the main 4, also known as “The Core” navigate leaving their world behind and entering a new kingdom of the heroes of Disney stories. In this dance, “The Core” will be portrayed by all 8 of Ms. Kayla’s Wednesday Hip Hop class. The dance starts out with half the group as the villians, and the other half as the heroes, who ‘battle it out’, get spelled into soldiers and in the end, they all become united as the heroes together and celebrate only to be casted to sleep. This performance piece highlights 3 popular songs from 2 of the movie’s successful franchise, and the unification for Ms. Kayla and her entire class who obsesses with Descendants!
